After high school, Danny earned a full ride athletic scholarship to Arizona State University for wrestling. Once in college he majored in art and earned a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts and became an All American wrestler. While attending college, Danny was encouraged to learn a wide array of mediums and art applications, along the way sharping and acquiring new artistic skills. Danny was also fortunate enough to study art history, drawing and painting abroad in Florence Italy.
After graduating from college, Danny pursued his passion for wrestling, moving from state to state across the country with his wife by his side. His art was put on hold as Danny dedicated his livelihood to his childhood dream of becoming a world class wrestler and representing his country in the Olympic Games and World championships. He has been a member of four US National Teams and a USA World Team Member, representing Team USA in the 2009 World Championships. Knowing that hard work and discipline equal success, Danny has been able to take the same winning characteristics, desire and commitment that made him successful in wrestling and apply it to his custom painting business. As time went on throughout Danny's wrestling career, he found a love for motorcycles. Not just riding them, but painting them! He has now owned and operated Toxic Paint Custom Designs for six years, with the help and support of some very good friends. His drive and inspiration comes from his mother and father who always encouraged, and pushed Danny to be his very best. Danny has a beautiful wife and a son who mean the world to him and gives them all the credit to his success on and off the mat. Without there love and support none of his accomplishments would be possible.
